Tenerife is the ideal holiday destination as it offers plenty to do and see during any season. The island is the largest of the Canary Islands and has a variety of landscapes due to its volcanic origin. The diversity and beauty of the island is hard to match with its hot beaches, dense forests and snow-capped mountains. Whether you want to live life to the full or find a quiet corner to relax Tenerife can make your stay on the island unforgettable. Take a trip up the mountains or across the island and see Canarian traditions kept alive in the old towns.
Car hire is cheap in Tenerife and there are 6 golf courses on the island with very reasonably priced green fees. Tenerife is a duty free island and there are extensive amount of shops in Las Americas and Los Cristianos offering a wide variety of local and imported goods.
The North of the island is an interesting place to visit, there are many shops, restaurants, and historic spots to visit etc. It will take about an hour to get there.
The cliffs of Los Gigantes are a beautiful sight.
La Gomera is an interesting trip/excursion and you may get to see dolphins and whales while crossing to the island. You can also drive over on the ferry www.fredolsen.es, but the trip/excursion might be more informative.
A trip up to the top of Mount Tiede is also a fantastic day out.
The Lady Shelley is a fantastic trip for whale and dolphin sightseeing.
Renting a Car / Internet Cafe: To rent a car the best place is opposite the Mediterranean Palace beside the body shop there is an internet cafe/car rental shop. You can also access the Internet at reception in Parque Santiago III - its 2 euro for 10 minutes.
Parking around Parque Santiago III:Opposite reception or if you are lucky there may be some spaces on the road between Parque Santiago III and IV.
Gym & Fitness Room: There is a gym located within the complex beside the heated pool. The gym is freely available for your use.

Loro Parque
Loro Parque has always been known as one of the top visitor attractions on Tenerife, and with around 1.5 million visitors each year, it's easy to see why. Originally it was mainly a Parrot park, however the site now covers a massive 135,000 square metres and Loro Parque is home to some of the worlds most fascinating and exotic animals including Dolphins, Orca whales, Tigers, Penguins and sea-lions.
